My parents are a responsible retired couple who are looking for a home swap for 3-6 months starting mid to late January 09 in Surrey as close to Caterham as possible. Their reason for this home swap is to be near me for the arrival of my first child. They are ideally looking for a cottage close to the country side, south facing, a view of trees or distance, a fast ADSL connection (my Mum is doing an online degree), a garden and to be within a short drive or walking distance from local shops. They are also keen walkers so to be near walking areas would be a bonus. They will concider other similar accommodation e.g. an apartment, small house etc.

Their home in Somerset West is a lovely Spanish style townhouse and is built on two floors. It has a garden, private parking, two bathrooms, two double bedrooms, the master room has a balcony with breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. There is an open plan living dining area and a large kitchen with an extension green room. They have a veranda with table and chairs looking over the garden for those lovely warm African evenings. Their home is a short drive to all local amenities, the beach and beautiful mountain walks. Somerset West is only 45 minutes drive away from Cape Town and other beautiful coastal towns.
